TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: October 2025These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cozy Watch desktop application (“App”) provided by Tiago Sá (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

1. License and Use

Cozy Watch is licensed, not sold, for your personal or organizational use. You may install and use the App on compatible devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or decompile the App except as permitted by law.

2. Account and Authentication

The App uses GitHub OAuth to authenticate your account. You are responsible for maintaining control over your GitHub credentials and authorizations. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access caused by lost or compromised credentials.

3. Data Handling

Cozy Watch communicates directly with GitHub’s API to retrieve data such as repositories, pull requests, and user information. Access tokens are stored securely and locally on your device using Electron’s safeStorage API. We do not store or transmit your data to any external servers. 4. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to Cozy Watch, including its design, code, and branding, are owned by Tiago Sá. GitHub and its logos are trademarks of GitHub, Inc. and are used solely for identification purposes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with future versions of GitHub’s API or operating systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, data loss, or business interruptions arising from the use or inability to use the App. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App from your devices.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
