TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: September 2026These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cozy Watch website, downloads, official application distributions, and related services provided by Tiago Sá (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using the website, downloading an official distribution, or using a related service, you agree to these Terms. The Cozy Watch source code is governed by the MIT License, which is not limited by these Terms.

1. License and Use

Official application distributions are licensed for personal or organizational use under the EULA. Source code released under the MIT License may be copied, modified, redistributed, sublicensed, and sold subject to that license. Website text, visual assets, and Cozy Watch brand assets may have separate copyright or trademark restrictions.

2. Account and Authentication

The App may use GitHub OAuth or another supported GitHub authentication method. You are responsible for maintaining control over your GitHub credentials and authorizations. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by lost or compromised credentials.

3. Data Handling

The App communicates directly with GitHub’s API to retrieve data such as repositories, pull requests, and user information. Access tokens are stored locally on your device using available operating-system security features. Website and service data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

Rights in source code are granted under the MIT License and applicable third-party licenses. The Cozy Watch name, logos, icons, artwork, and website content remain protected by their applicable rights. GitHub and its logos are trademarks of GitHub, Inc. and are used solely for identification purposes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with future versions of GitHub’s API or operating systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, data loss, or business interruptions arising from the use or inability to use the App. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to official services if you violate these Terms. Termination does not revoke rights granted under the MIT License.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
